Hair Replacement attachment options

Wearing a hair system may be a big step and choosing how you are going to attachment is one of the biggest choices one can make in your new hair journey.  The most common options are:

  • Tape
  • Clips
  • Bonding
Tape is the oldest way that a hair replacement system has been attached.  It allows the user a great deal of flexibility as it can be changed daily or you can get several days of wear out of it.  What is really great about this option is the fact that you can take your hair on and off as you need.

Clips are another great option that allows you the user to take your hair on and off as needed. In this case, you must have hair to attach the clips to and it is recommended that you remove this type of attached system every night to prevent breakage of your existing hair.

Bonding is the most popular attachment there is. Although a professional would be required to remove and adhere a bonded hair system to your scalp, bonding will last the longest with the least maintenance.  Most of our clients come in to see us for a bonding service every 3-6 weeks dependent on what works best for their personal needs.
