Shedding hair, what is normal?

Shedding hair can be scary particularly when it is a lot.  Everyone sheds about 100 strands a day but if you feel you are losing a lot more than that, it is time to figure out why.  Excessive hair shedding comes about when you are experiencing stress, dealing with illness, or eating poorly to name a few.  If you find your hair is falling out by the handfuls, then it is time to see a doctor.  Your doctor may do some tests to see figure out where your deficiencies lay.  It can then take 6-10 months to get your hair back to it's healthy state.  If the doctor determines that your hair loss is genetic, then it is time to decide what your next steps are. Whether your hair loss is caused by outside factors or by genetics, Donte's of New York is here to help you. Visit us on the web at: www.dontes.com or call today for your FREE consultation.
