- Use products that are good for your hair-Sulfate Free shampoos are the latest and greatest products out there. They are ideal for dry, colored and damaged hair but work great with all hair types. We love the Sudzz FX line of sulfate free shampoos such as Cashmere, Nyrvana and Whipped Cream and Honey.
- Use a Silicone Based Smoother before using any hot tools-Hot tools can wreck damage to your hair, these include curling irons, flat irons and even hair dryers when used on their highest settings. Using a silicone based smoother such as Zenyth by Sudzz FX, your hair will not only feel wonderful but will look beautiful too.
- Use an Ionic Blow Dryer-An Ionic Blow Dryer will reduce frizz and not cause further damage to your hair. It emits a negative charge that will stop the frizz and leave your hair with a beautiful shine
- A brush and wet hair should never mix- One of the biggest discussions we have with our customer is not to brush wet hair. We always recommend brushing hair before going into the shower and not using a brush again until the hair is about 85% dry. Why, may you ask? Well, hair is its most elastic when wet. When the hair pulls it can easily snap, causing frizzy, damaged hair.
- Washing your hair every day is ok but...-You certainly are ok with washing your hair every day but unless your hair is dirty from something other than normal wear, it is really best to give your hair a break from a daily washing. Try washing your hair every other day or if you can every few days. Allowing the natural oils from your scalp to come through, will give your hair a chance to be its healthiest.
