I heard a hair rumor...

Myth #1:

Yanking out gray hair will cause more hair to grown in it's place...

FALSE  Hair follicles are genetically determined and pulling a gray or any other color hair out will not cause more hairs to grown in it's place.  However, it is not recommended that you pull any hairs out as doing so repeatedly can damage the root and stop the hair follicle from functioning properly. 

Myth #2:

Wearing your hair back tight every day can cause bald spots...

TRUE  Daily tension on the hair such as braids or tight ponytails, can cause tract alopecia, a form of hair loss that can be prevented by avoiding these stressful styles. Instead, opt for loose or low ponytails and headbands to keep your hair away from your face.

Myth #3:

If you use the same shampoo daily, it will eventually stop working...

FALSE  Sometimes it does seem as if your shampoo is no longer working for you as well as it first did when you began using it. However it really does not. What does occur is that your hair is experiencing build up from the use of conditioners and styling products, this will leave your hair less voluminous than when you began to use that wonderful new shampoo.  We recommend you do rotate your shampoos and use a clarifying shampoo at least once a week, such as Suddz FX Nyrvana or if you are experiencing hair loss our Hair Support line of shampoos, will clean out that hair follicle allowing new hair to grow in.

Cold rinsing your hair will lead to a better shine...

Proper care for your hair

Hair ages as we do
